Case Study

2,000 square feet of game-day impact

Aliante brought its established multimedia partner into a major sportsbook remodel. LUCI built the 106-foot curved LED wall, upgraded the bar ticker, and brought the room onto the platform already running the rest of the property.

The challenge

Aliante wanted to transform its sportsbook with a full remodel, including a 2,000 sq ft curved LED wall.

The approach

LUCI built a 106' x 20' curved wall and bar ticker, bringing the sportsbook onto one platform with the rest of the casino.

The result

An immersive sportsbook experience, a simplified hardware and software stack, and centralized control — all through the interface Aliante’s team already knows.

The next chapter for a proven destination

Aliante’s sportsbook remodel was a major investment in the guest experience, anchored by a 106-foot curved LED wall — roughly 2,000 square feet of canvas for live sports, racing, and odds. The room’s projector-based display system had served the property for years; the remodel created the opportunity to build the next generation around a far larger, more flexible centerpiece.

LUCI was already live throughout the rest of Aliante, orchestrating audio, video, and signage across the property. They simply brought the sportsbook remodel onto LUCI and continued to give the entire property a single interface and a single standard of operations.

Building the 106-foot centerpiece

LUCI’s team built and installed the 106-foot curved LED wall. On a wall this size, the curve had to be exact: even a small variation can keep an LED tile from seating correctly or leave a visible gap. The team adjusted each section of the mounting structure to hold the intended curve, so every tile sat flush across the full span.

Behind the wall, fifteen racks of legacy gear came out and were replaced by just two LUCI racks. More than twenty projectors came down. LUCI also rebuilt the continuous odds ticker around the sportsbook bar, bringing the main wall, the ticker, video sources, and audio onto the same platform already operating throughout Aliante.

Operating the wall

The operator starts by choosing from six wall configurations, each designed for a different mix of events. Tap a box in the interface, select the game, race, or channel that belongs there, and LUCI sends it to that section of the wall.

Audio is controlled by section as well, so the team can make one event the focus without changing the rest of the room. The wall can move from a single marquee event to a full slate of simultaneous games without a separate workflow or control system.

Consolidation you can see

  • 15 racks → 2 LUCI racks

Fifteen racks of legacy gear pulled and replaced with two LUCI racks — less equipment to power, cool, and maintain.

  • 20+ projectors → one LED canvas

20+ projectors removed and replaced by one continuous curved LED wall.

  • Separate sportsbook controls → one login

The sportsbook now runs from the same LUCI interface as the rest of the property.

  • Legacy bar ticker → coordinated odds display

The continuous ticker around the sportsbook bar was rebuilt and brought onto LUCI alongside the main wall, video, and audio.

Every endpoint, every zone, every wall, every channel — one interface.

One property. One operating standard.

The remodel gives Aliante more than a LED wall centerpiece. It gives the property a sportsbook that can change with the calendar, coordinate with the rest of the resort, and remain part of one operating standard.

  • One guest experience. Wall layouts, individual sources, section-level audio, and the bar ticker work together, so guests experience one room rather than a collection of separate systems.
  • Property-wide coordination. Because the sportsbook joins the same LUCI platform as the rest of Aliante, the team can manage and coordinate multimedia across the property without learning another interface.
  • Ready for future change. Whatever Aliante renovates, reconfigures, or brings online next can join the operating standard already in place, with LUCI there to support the transition.

The wall gives Aliante the visual centerpiece it set out to create. LUCI makes the entire experience operable, coordinated, and ready for whatever the property decides to do next.
